The day I took to the (sanded wood and carpet) floor to host the biggest 4Networking event in Weston Super Mare yet!!

On Tuesday 24^th October around 100 business owners flocked to the Riverside Holiday Park in Weston Super Mare to join in the biggest networking breakfast ever- all hosted by yours truly to promote and share the success of their business and of course to promote Floor Blimey! and our fantastic carpet cleaning and floor sanding services.

As some of you may already know I am an avid networker actively promoting carpet cleaning and timber floor sanding in Weston Super Mare and surrounding areas through 4Networking. It’s a great way to spend time with other business people for ideas and support and to share expertise and services. A typical meeting can hold around 25 people of which you can usually make at least 3 new contacts for business. However this week came to fruition something that the amazing team have been planning for months now- a huge event with around 100 businesses coming together to celebrate what we all do and the brilliance of 4Networking!

The genius behind it all was a guy some of you may know- Matt Richardson of Recognition Express. Matt is not only a prolific and hardworking networker, he’s also a bit of a comedy genius and so- as it was arranged by such a personality the meeting had everything- music, laughter, a spot of dancing (YMCA anyone?), great food and a brilliantly inspiring educational slot provided by Todd from Spaghetti agency (social media genius) on how to make those all important decisions we sometimes avoid in life. Despite running to script and a strict timescale the meeting was an absolute blast and lots of business was done in the room. I even picked up a bit of carpet cleaning and floor sanding whilst there!

Networking events are a brilliant way to increase your company and personal profile whilst having the best time too. – Who wouldn’t want to spend the morning with like minded and fun people whilst enjoying a wonderful breakfast?
